About the role

With iconic brands such as Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars to our name, our Liquor team is well on its way to being Australia’s favourite drinks retailer. We serve up everything from premium wines and craft beers, to spirits from local distilleries. We’re also growing every day, so it’s an exciting time to join us.

 

As an Online Assistant Store Manager, you’ll have senior accountability across the day-to-day aspects of running an online liquor warehouse. Your focus in this role is to achieve key online and commercial targets while taking part in initiatives that enable growth, drive accurate stock management, and oversee the fulfilment of online customers orders.

 

You’ll take pride in contributing to a customer experience that’s welcoming and inspiring for our customers, team members and community through our online distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity to take your retail, e-commerce and/or warehousing leadership experience to the next level.

 

About you and your skills

 

  • Experience with being responsible for the day-to-day operations of a large format retail, e-commerce/online or warehousing site.
  • Online Fulfilment skills or expertise are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams
  • Take a team approach to meeting sales targets, cost control and rostering needs
  • Stong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, manage and influence with confidence
  • To keep things simple and inspire customers by making sure Coles’ visual merchandising, safety, compliance and stock management standards are met
  • An accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain
  • You may be required to undergo a Police Check if successful in the recruitment process, a cost that you’ll be responsible for upfront but will be reimbursed upon successful placement
