About the team

In 2023, we are establishing a new business within Coles Group responsible for supplying products to business customers. We have signed our first major customer – the current Coles Express business, which we have announced the sale of to our Strategic Partner – Viva Energy and we are preparing for launch. As a result, we seek to employ a Range & Accounts administrator support the team to service current customers and deliver its growth ambitions over coming years.

About the role

As the key administrator for the Range & Accounts team, you will be responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks for range management, new product development and any promotional activities are completed both accurately and on time, including:

  • Ownership of manual & automated upload of new lines after verification of the integrity of supplier item details and addition of internal data fields
  • Run and provide category or SKU performance reports
  • Manage ad hoc category administration projects
  • Assist in management of key processes for assigned trading area including catalogue brief and sign off on catalogue content and accuracy and/or product list and information flow for the team
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing requests for promotional activity
  • Manage and provide advice of resolution and next steps for conflict promotional processing issues, UBF issues, promotional queries, pricing queries, overstock clearance requests, invoice and other queries

About you and your skills:

To be considered for this role you will need to have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage high volumes of administrative and repetitive tasks and an engaging approach to customer service. Your experience and background in the following areas will greatly assist:

  • Experience working closely with or supporting a retail buying/trading team is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume administrative environment
  • Prior experience in data entry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective relationships both internally and externally
  • Good knowledge of Coles merchandise processes, procedures and systems (e.g., RMS, BIW, IKB, RPM, DIDOS, SharePoint)
  • Experience working in a cross functional team
