  • You are experienced in Lending with a passion for Customer Service
  • We are experts in supporting customers in one of the most important financial decisions they will make
  • You will be required to attend the office a minimum of one day per fortnight to attend the Melbourne Lending Connection Day with your team and the wider business.

Whether a customer is buying their first or second home, investing in a property, refinancing, building or renovating, you’re there to deliver the right solutions at the right time. You will manage the unique, and at times complex, needs of your customers.
  • Our Home Lending Executives thrive on creating long-lasting relationships as well as proactively creating new relationships and partners for networking opportunities. They know how to ask the right questions to deliver appropriate lending solutions and build trust, confidence and advocacy in every interaction.
  • As a Home Loan Executive, you’ll be a stickler for detail, ensuring applications are compliant and all checks have been done. The service you provide will be exceptional, giving you the confidence to ask for external referrals from your existing satisfied customers

We are:

  • The Direct Lending business brings together the lending activity across Retail Banking Services (RBS) Direct Channels.
  • You’ll be joining our Melbourne Home Lending Team supporting customers with their home buying needs.
  • Using industry-leading call centre technology, our team provide customers with a seamless banking experience.

You are:

  • Provide support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams
  • Complete first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions, and submitting applications
  • Make relevant suggestions to your customers based on the home buying goals they have set
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, building trust, confidence, and advocacy to help them secure and enhance their financial goals
  • Contact home buying customers to build rapport, determine their needs and goals, and invite them into the branch for an appointment
  • Adhere to the Bank’s processes, procedures, and Code of Conduct, including accurately reviewing customers’ financial positions, completing security checks, and ensuring applications comply with our obligations
  • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills, and coaching your branch colleagues on best practice
  • Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group
  • Use tools to capture customer feedback, and taking action to correct any service breaks and drive improvement

What will help you succeed?

Crucial to the success of this roles is:

  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service through a proven ability to establish and maintain effective and rewarding relationships.
  • World class customer pipeline management skills
  • Prior proven experience within a lending/sales environment
  • Knowledge of retail lending with the ability to identify and anticipate customers’ financial needs
  • Demonstrated understanding of Home Lending products and the current national home lending legislation
  • Ability to coach and upskill peers
  • Advanced business and market acumen
