Role: State Administration Assistant
Location: Melbourne
Employment Type: Part Time – 30.4 hours a week ( to cover 4 days a week or 6 hours a day over 5 days a week)

We are looking for a State Administration Assistant to assist the Office Manager in providing administrative support to two State Managers and their teams by managing the delivery of services. This role would ideally suit someone who has previously held an admin support role and is wanting a platform to learn and grow from this position within Goodstart.
About the role:
- Reporting into the Office Manager to provide administrative support to the State Managers and their teams.
- Answer all internal and external customer enquiries which come through all communication channels including email, walk in, telephone and mail.
- Managing confidential and highly sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner.
- Ensure all stakeholders are given regular updates in relation to state issues, meetings and events
- Coordination of functions and travel
- Maintains confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence and related material for ease of retrieval
- Collate reports and complete data collection and maintain an efficient and effective electronic filing system for company records
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Qualification in Business Administration or equivalent (desired)
- Previous experience managing a wide portfolio of work
- Advanced working knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional attention to detail and extremely organized
- Must have a flexible attitude/ able to adapt in a changing environment / bring a ” can do” attitude to the role.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work cross functionally
- Previous experience within the Early Learning sector (desired)
- Car driver / owner is essential in this role.
