What is the role?
As an Admin Assistant at the Goodstart Ocean Keys Centre, you will need to:
- Support the centre directors in achieving key business deliverables.
- Provide a warm welcome to families in the centres, online and on the phone.
- Perform key business tasks such as filing, maintaining families’ accounts, and overseeing the centres waitlist.
- Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies and Procedures.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
- Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.

What do you need?
- Exceptional customer service skills, prior experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
- An ability to multi-task and prioritise your work while remaining efficient and proactive.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in a childcare centre or the early education sector is advantageous.
- A diploma in Administration or similar is highly advantageous.
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a national Working With Children Check card.
