Employment Type: Part Time (20 hours per week over 4 days – school hours)

What is the role?

As a highly experienced Admin Assistant at Goodstart Myaree, you will need to:

  • Support the centre directors in achieving key business deliverables.
  • Provide a warm welcome to families in the centres, online and on the phone.
  • Perform key business tasks such as filing, maintaining families’ accounts, and overseeing the centres waitlist.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies and Procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.

What do you need?

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Administration or Buisness or similar is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, prior experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
  • An ability to multi-task and prioritise your work while remaining efficient and proactive.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a childcare centre or the early education sector is advantageous.
  • Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a national Working With Children Check card.
