Healthcare Australia (HCA) are seeking Disability Support workers to deliver domestic assistance, social support, transport and some respite services in Perth on a casual basis.

About the role:
This is a role supporting our NDIS customers in their own homes or home setting. Predominately these customers require support between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday, so the ideal person for this role would need to have 6-8 hours of availability between these times to match these support requests.
Every day is a little different, so you can expect to visit and support multiple customers each day, assisting them with one or more of the duties below depending on their individual requirements.
The main duties of the role will be:
- Assisting with domestic duties and household chores including washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Assisting with social support and encouraging engagement in social activities
- Assisting with personal care including showering, dressing, grooming
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Support Worker in Home Care or Disability
- Adaptability to work with different individuals
- A relevant qualification in Disability or Aged Care or Individual Support
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Vaccinated against COVID and current Flu
You will also have a passion for supporting people with disabilities and respect what they have achieved in their lives. You will be motivated by helping them to stay at home as long as they can this is the job is for you.
