Overview
This is a Part time role (30 hours per week) Fixed term contract role of13 months, to start in January 2023. Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to provide high quality executive support and administrative assistance to the Empirics Management.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Client liaison – using proactivity and initiative to take action on any requirements as necessary. Liaison with external clients, suppliers, consultants and stakeholders to support key activities
  • Administration of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions
  • Plan, coordinate and manage domestic travel
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Proof reading of documents for management
  • Prepare payment requests including AMEX and staff reimbursements. Manage the approval process
  • Collate monthly financial reports for Empirics Management as required.
  • Internal event coordination.
  • Ad hoc duties, projects and general administration as requested by Empirics Management

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Proficient in typing and with sound skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email systems and databases
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality of information
  • Previous experience in supporting an administration role
  • Understanding of the business/ industry or the ability to develop an understanding
  • Flexible approach
  • Advanced organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills
  • High level interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and is proactive
  • Ability to work under pressure
