The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and professional Insights and Initiatives Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will lead analyses and develop strategic initiatives with the goal of improving our provider experience and key datasets across our insurance business.

Reporting to the Head of Healthcare Funding and Strategy Operations, the role is responsible for:

  • Completing and presenting analysis on provider interactions and datasets for Medibank’s insurance business, including understanding metrics, analysing and monitoring supporting processes, identifying and working closely with stakeholders, and managing related governance, compliance and risk activities;
  • Managing development and delivery of the provider platforms + experience roadmap;
  • Leading and supporting delivery of initiatives, funded and unfunded projects or smaller improvement work related to provider operational improvement, provider experience metrics, provider data and provider platforms as detailed on the roadmap; and
  • Supporting operational redesign, risk and governance optimisation of operational processes within the HFS operational teams that relate to provider platforms, experience and data.

About You

You will be an experienced Management Consultant (or in a similar role) with a passion for seeking out innovative solutions to business problems. Your strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills will ensure your success in the role, as will your ability to engage with and present to a wide range of audiences across the business and to our range of providers. You will be just as comfortable working at a strategic level as you are getting hands on in delivery stage, always focussed on the goal of understanding, improving and streamlining our provider experiences.
