SALHN is Recruiting Administration Staff to join our team.
We are looking to recruit a wide range of Administrative staff to join the Mental Health Division of the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). You will be working with like-minded individuals. A collaborative, positive and supportive team environment. A team that strives to add value to the organisation by working closely with our business partners to develop and deliver positive outcomes to our clients.
This vacancy will be used to fill Casual vacancies in the Mental Health Division across the SALHN as they arise.
We are seeking various Administrative Support staff for appointment across a variety of locations in the Mental Health Services in the south of Adelaide including;
- Flinders Medical Centre
- Marion GP+
- Noarlunga Hospital
These roles provide an efficient, comprehensive, customer orientated service to staff and clients across SALHN. Some work outside normal hours will be required.
The Administrative staff are responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient confidential secretarial and clerical support service to multidisciplinary team members which can include Consultants and Heads of Units across the SALHN Mental Health sites.
Tasks will include: answering telephone calls, completing work as required, maintaining client records, and liaise with staff, the public and other service providers. To succeed in this role you will have a high level of proficiency in keyboard and computing skills, and. You will have the ability to work autonomously when needed and also within a team.
To be suitable for this role, you must be compassionate and be able to function through difficult working environments due to the nature of mental health illness experienced by our consumer group. Experience in a community health setting or similar environment dealing with consumers and their families in a setting which may be stressful would be an advantage. You must have the ability to communicate well within all aspects of the role both verbally and written.
