Commercial Administrator / Assistant

Job Description

Due to the continuous success of our Australian operations, we currently have an exciting Full-Time permanent opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to join our team (all offices). This role is a newly created role and is critical in supporting the commercial and operational management of business teams.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Project Performance, the key purpose of the role is to provide support to the commercial team in the successful operation of the Project Delivery and Governance Group.

The role:

·       Support the commercial managers in management of business teams

·       Support others in facilitating project reviews and project quality audits to minimise business risk and maximise performance

·       Assisting team in implementing a budget & forward revenue forecasting process

·       Support with liaising with third party auditors when required

·       Supporting the Commercial Team with preparation of management reports, legal documents and other correspondence and reports as required

·       Support team members to advocate compliance to WSP project management practices

·       Proactively seek opportunities to improve the Commercial Teams’ processes,

·       Provide other general administrative support to the Commercial Team as required.

What we’ll love about you:

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field

·       Typically, 3 to 5 years’ experience

·       Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

·       Experience in a similar role would be beneficial

·       Highly developed analytical and problem solving skill

·       ability to anticipate issues and raise them with Managers before they escalate
